31 chefs cook up a gourmet potluck dinner for a cause

MANILA, Philippines - “Recipes for Children’s Dreams,” a gourmet potluck dinner on Nov. 25 at Merville Park, Parañaque’s Rogationist Seminary, gathers 31 of the metro’s top chefs and culinary experts for a P2,000 buffet. Proceeds from the 83-dish spread prepared by the participating chefs will go to the construction of a building for the St. Hannibal’s Children’s Center, where feeding programs as well as values formation and catechism classes are organized every Sunday for kids from the less-fortunate communities of Merville.

The project is the brainchild of Jean Pierre Migne, the veteran French chef behind some of the finest five-star restaurants in the country and the world — and a man with a genuinely soft spot for Pinoy children.
