Thanksgiving turkey at Florabel and Felix today
MANILA, Philippines - Thanksgiving is a time-honored tradition in the US. This official holiday, celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, has been an occasion for family members to come together and celebrate the blessings of the year. The culinary centerpoint of this celebration is, of course, the roast turkey.
Chef and restaurateur Florabel Co recognizes that the act of giving thanks is universal and celebrating with great food, family and friends should be experienced by everyone. This Thanksgiving season, two of chef Florabel’s restaurants — Florabel and Felix — have prepared a special Thanksgiving dining experience.
Today, both restaurants will serve a four-course set menu with US roast turkey as the main entree. The meal, which includes soup, salad, entree and dessert, is priced at P1,000+.
“Roast turkey is too good to have just once a year,” says chef Florabel. This is why both restaurants are now accepting turkey orders all year round. Each whole US roast turkey with apple and chesnut stuffing comes with sweet potato mash, creamed corn and carrots, cranberry jelly and giblet gravy at P 6,750. Orders must be made at least three days in advance.

Florabel restaurant at The Podium has been practicing the art of fine dining since 2005. It specializes in Pinoy nouvelle cuisine such as Adobo Ala Florabel, chef Florabel’s award-winning adobo with kesong puti or the Chilean sea bass with sweet crabmeat, served with spinach and mushrooms.
Felix restaurant, named after chef Florabel’s father, is located in Greenbelt 5, offers a casual family dining experience, with a menu inspired by recipes from the family and friends of the chef.
