MANILA, Philippines - Global kitchen-wraps-and-bags brand Glad, in collaboration with chef/food stylist/part-owner of Five Cows Restaurant and Kitch Café Eugene Raymundo shares tasty recipes that will transform home dishes into meals fit to be served in a dining establishment.
“Believe it or not, these restaurant-quality dishes are easy to make. The recipes can be prepared by any homemaker as they do not require fancy, high-powered kitchen tools,” shares chef Raymundo.
He also advises homemakers to use Glad products to keep food fresh and their kitchen mess-fee. Sturdy and no-mess Glad Freezer Zipper Bags help keep food fresh, and are made with thick plastic to prevent freezer burn. They also help cut marinating time in half.
Glad Aluminum Foil is ideal for cooking, baking, barbecuing, and lining grillers to minimize mess and reduce cleanups. Glad Aluminum Foil locks in the steam, juices, and flavors of food as it acts like a pressure cooker while the dish bakes in the oven, ensuring a tender, flavorsome result.

Herb and Bacon-crusted beef medallion
Ingredients:
4 pcs. beef tenderloin (about 110 grams each)
8 strips of bacon
3 tbsps. fresh basil
2 tsps. fresh oregano
3 tbsps. fresh parsley
1 tsp. fresh rosemary
1 tbsp. chopped garlic
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Glad Freezer Zipper bag
Glad Aluminum Foil
Procedure:
1. Get a long strip of Glad Aluminum Foil (around 16 inches), fold it into fourths, length-wise.
2. Place beef, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, parsley, rosemary, and garlic in Glad Freezer Zipper Bag. Massage beef for a few seconds until well-blended and marinate for at least four hours.
3. Take a big chunk of beef tenderloin, mash it together to form a lump then get a slice or two of bacon with which to roll the beef. Tie them together using folded strips of Glad Aluminum Foil by twisting the foil like a belt. Pan-grill the beef in a pre-heated griller, making sure to start with the “bacon side” first before turning the meat over to cook the other side.
4. Best served medium-rare or medium-well (and it would usually take between seven and eight minutes for each side to get it cooked medium-rare).
