Chinese engagement feast at Crowne Plaza
MANILA, Philippines - Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria launches its Chinese Engagement package known as Ting Hun.
The package includes customary items such as the fondant engagement cake, which will be taken for a car ride around the block; corsage and bouquet, and a red or orange drink to be served as soon as the bride-to-be is seated.
The Ting Hun feast starts with the sweet egg soup and misua symbolizing togetherness and long life for the couple. Other items on the menu are baked prawns, Birthday Noodles, crab with salted eggs, deep-fried prawns in spicy salt, chili crab, and mini egg tarts for dessert.
