MANILA, Philippines - The Maya Kitchen introduces you to no-oil, no-fuss health cooking as chef Josephine Cunanan of Inos Culinary Team shares tips on cooking healthy and tasty meals with no oil and minimum preparation on June 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at The Maya Kitchen Culinary Center, eighth floor, Liberty Bldg., 835 A. Arnaiz Ave., Makati City.

Learn how to prepare no-oil pancake, waterless sinigang na boneless bangus, healthy baked macaroni, seafood and chicken paella and pork scallopine.

On June 17 and 18, from 1 to 6 p.m., mixologist and Bartending League of the Philippines president Mutley Matilla shares his know-how in home bartending. Learn basic drinks and mixes, garnishes and other tips to wow your guests at your party.

There will also be a Bridal Fondant Cake and Cupcake Workshop on June 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and International Cooking from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Certificate courses for the month include: Fundamentals of Bakery Production, June 14 to 17 and June 28 to July 1, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Basic Culinary, June 7 to 10, June 21 to 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Basic Cake Decorating, June 10 to 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

TESDA registered courses for career and professional cooks are Commercial Cooking NCII including 400 hours of lecture, demo workshop and on-the-job training. Classes start on June 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bread and Pastry Production NCII is a 250-hour course inclusive of on-the-job training. Classes start on June 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
