Successful chef-preneurs are graduates of CCA, Manila
MANILA, Philippines - What do chefs Miguel de Alba of Alba’s, Joanna Yu of Bigby’s, and Nikki Nicolas of SumoSam Group have in common? Aside from being successful chef-entrepreneurs or “chef-preneurs,” they are all graduates of the top culinary school in the country — the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA, Manila).
Their recipes for success serve as a template for current CCA, Manila’s students aspiring to make it in the competitive restaurant scene. The three of them have credited CCA, Manila’s effective curriculum, team of skilled chef-instructors, and the hands-on methods of teaching for their success. Their success stories can be read in the newly launched second issue of CCA Central, the official magazine of CCA, Manila.
CCA, Manila has academic programs accredited by the prestigious American Culinary Federation Foundation (ACFF), a premier professional chefs’ organization based in North America that has 225 chapters and more than 20,000 members. CCA, Manila holds the distinction of being the first culinary education institution in Asia accredited by the prestigious group.
One of the benefits for CCA, Manila students of accredited programs is the fact that their education is at par with other programs across the world. Also, upon graduation or completion of the program, they can earn industry certification. Indeed, students reap the benefits of having CCA, Manila as their school.
