Prime rib eye and beef salpicao at Tender Bob’s
The first step to a memorable steak, according to Bambi Meer, general manager of Tender Bob’s, begins in the chiller where frozen prime cuts should be thawed. Tender Bob’s, which has four restaurants in Metro Manila, has mastered the procedure so that a USDA prime rib eye is a melt-in-the-mouth experience. At Tender Bob’s, well-marbled young beef starts at P560. Value for money is further enhanced by the choice of side dishes (vegetables and gravy) that go with the steak. Diners can opt for rice or mashed potato.
Tender Bob’s non-steak entrees include the garlic-kissed US beef salpicao, and pork chops and grilled chicken steak, which are certified best-sellers. Prices range from P170 to P360.
Tender Bob’s is located at Greenbelt 2; Shangri-La Mall; Greenhills Promenade; and The Block, SM North EDSA.
