Cantonese cuisine fest at Mandarin Oriental Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Three award-winning chefs from one of Hong Kong’s top restaurant chains, the Super Star Seafood restaurant, will be guest chefs at Tin Hau, Mandarin Oriental, Manila, from May 24 to May 30. 

The chefs will also preside over a cooking class and lunch on May 29 at 9 a.m. The three chefs are Chung Man Poi, head chef at Super Star’s Tsim Sha Tsui outlet; Ho Po Lung Thomas, head chef of the Wan Chai outlet, and Choi San Lung, dim sum head chef at the Mong Kok restaurant.

Some of the dishes the chefs will prepare include the stonefish prepared two ways; deep-fried garoupa in chrysanthemum cut, steamed garoupa fillet roll, lobster salad with pomelo; crispy tiger prawn set on fresh tomato; wok-fried vermicelli with dried scallop and bean sprouts, to name a few.

Classic callos at Flying Pig
