Upon entering KKK, the first thing you would notice is their use of indigenous materials and eye-catching murals in sepia tones featuring Jose Rizal eating with his revolutionist buddies. The ensaladang inihaw na talong (grilled eggplant salad) is filled with onions, tomatoes and eggs. The bacon-cut inihaw na liempo (grilled pork) is marinated and grilled until tender. It’s lip-smacking good. The Adobo ni Jake Espesyal is made with adobo flakes and bananas. The bistek flakes is cooked to a crispy crunch and drizzled with tomatoes, onions, and sauce. Pla-pla na inihaw sa asin, a succulent fish wrapped in salt, is grilled to crisp perfection. Other interesting dishes are the laing sa gata and banana fritters ala mode with mantecado ice cream.
