Sinigang na lechon soup, adobo ni Jake at KKK Food Revolution

-

MANILA, Philippines - KKK Food Revolution is a Filipino restaurant with an Asian twist. Upon entering KKK, the first thing you would notice is their use of indigenous materials and eye-catching murals in sepia tones featuring Jose Rizal eating with his revolutionist buddies. Best-sellers include sinigang na lechon soup. The sinigang spice adds an unexpected yet appetizing twist to the crispy lechon. The ensaladang inihaw na talong (grilled eggplant salad) is filled with onions, tomatoes and eggs. The bacon-cut inihaw na liempo (grilled pork) is marinated and grilled until tender. It’s lip-smacking good. The Adobo ni Jake Espesyal is made with adobo flakes and bananas. The bistek flakes is cooked to a crispy crunch and drizzled with tomatoes, onions, and sauce. Pla-pla na inihaw sa asin, a succulent fish wrapped in salt, is grilled to crisp perfection. Other interesting dishes are the laing sa gata and banana fritters ala mode with mantecado ice cream.
