Chef Florabel prepares Christmas feasts for takeout

MANILA, Philippines - Chef and restaurateur Florabel Co offers a special menu for take-out or delivery to make your Christmas party become a fine-dining experience. Available at her restaurant, Florabel at The Podium, orders must be placed at least two days in advance.

There is the roast whole US turkey with apple and chestnut stuffing, served with cranberry jelly, mashed potato, giblet gravy, and buttered vegetables. Or you can opt for the organic roast chicken with mushroom stuffing and sautéed vegetables, or the baked Asian salmon with green asparagus spears.

For meat lovers, there is the roast US Angus rib-eye with twice-baked potato, steamed vegetables, and mushroom sauce. Other meat options are crown roast ribs with apple sauce, braised short ribs with figs and mushroom, and BBQ baby back ribs.

Depending on which dish, each order can serve six to 15 persons.

For dessert, Florabel offers a wide range of choices, including low-fat ricotta cheese cake with muesli crust, sugar-free chocolate decadence, yema-filled chocolate cake, baked New York cheesecake, and more. Sugar-free cakes are available, too.
