Magnolia Ice Cream at its best at The Perfect Cone

Ice cream lovers can relive their Magnolia Ice Cream Parlor memories at The Perfect Cone located at the San Miguel Bay Area of SM Mall of Asia.

“We wanted to recreate the atmosphere of the ice cream parlor we used to frequent when we were younger. In fact, that’s the idea behind The Perfect Cone,” explains Ruby Ines, operations manager.

Ruby says they even conducted research to get the recipes of Magnolia Ice Cream Parlor’s best sellers such as Coney Island and the choo-choo train to entice old-timers and the new generation of ice cream lovers.

The Perfect Cone is open from 4 p.m. to 12 midnight on weeknights and up to 2 a.m. on weekends.

The grilled smoked salmon with cream cheese is a gourmet treat with smoked salmon slices and fresh vegetables slathered with rich and tangy cream cheese.

The grilled ham and cheese sandwich, on the other hand, has juicy slices of premium shank ham with mozzarella cheese tucked in a wheat roll.

Cheese lovers can opt for the grilled four-cheese sandwich (with a medley of mozzarella, parmesan, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses topped with thick slices of ripe tomatoes with pesto sauce), or the Philly cheese steak (roasted beef slices with mushrooms, caramelized onions and melted cheese).

Health buffs will surely love the tuna melt sandwich (filled with tender slivers of tuna, fresh greens and melted cheese), the chunky chicken sandwich, and the cold chunky tuna sandwich with a slightly sweet and savory dressing.

For a filling meal, grab a cheeseburger sandwich. The 1/3-pound, all-beef burger patty is topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.

There’s also the jumbo chili hotdog sandwich with Mexican-style chili beans and grated cheese.

The feast is not complete without the roast chicken sandwich with slices of Kenny’s trademark roast chicken.
