Committed to the tradition of continuous innovations, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) recently launched its newest credit card program with an exclusive runway party at the Arctic Hall of the Waterfront Hotel Lahug, Cebu.
In partnership with Northwest Airlines, BPI introduced to Cebuanos the World Perks Express Credit and MasterCard that offers a comprehensive mileage program with an easier mile-earning feature.
On hand to welcome valued clients and guests were bank executives vice president for operations Anton Corro, card banking group head Ysabel Sylianteng, Northwest Airlines marketing communications manager Patricia Celis, NW/ITI general manager Gina Campos, Cebu district manager Ella Mae Lim, and BPI WorldPerks card manager based in Cebu Ace Villareza.
To highlight the several unique features of the card, the affair, with the theme "Bridging Borders in Style," showcased the exclusive couture collections of top Cebu sterling fashion designers Philip Rodriguez, Arcy Gayatin, and Jun Escario whose awesome creations found inspiration from three of the fashion capitals of the world, Paris, New York, and Tokyo.
Fashion plates and working socialites in attendance included Cebu City First Lady Margot Osmeña, style icon Rosebud Sala, tony hostess Teresin Mendezona, head turners mother-daughter tandem Zeny Deen and Jackie Lotzof, statuesque Leigh Carcel, frequent flyers glamorous philanthropist Amparito Lhuillier, Annabelle Luym, Gerry Richards, Dean and Lolly Diez, and travel specialists Margaret Ang and Sheila Colmenares.
The BPI WorldPerks Express Credit allows cardholders to earn miles as they make use of their cards. Unlike other airline co-brand facilities, the miles with BPI simply have no expiration date. The miles earned continue to accumulate till the cardholder decides to fly and redeem them for a ticket.
What a way to go! The only way to go! World, here we come!
