Three tourism-oriented entities, the Celebrity World Productions, Triton Distributions Systems, and the National Association of Independent Travel Agents (NAITAS), recently bonded together and signed a memorandum of agreement at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel to further enhance and boost tourism potential in the country.

Celebrity World Productions was tasked to produce audio-visual presentations that will be used as tools for tour guiding and also for the promotion of the Philippines abroad.

Robert Lim Joseph, chairman, Celebrity World Productions and the Travel Cooperative of the Philippines, has been urging the government and the private sector to support and assist the project that will address the shortage of qualified tour guides, particularly in the field of language skills, historical facts, and training.

Triton Distribution Systems, an Internet-based infrastructure technology company, was pleased to announce a contract had been signed with the Philippine-based NAITAS that would provide its travel agency members with its robust network and advanced technology to greatly facilitate the booking of travel arrangements, including air, hotel and car reservations at the lowest fares possible.
