During his all-too-short-a-stay in Cebu, Mark developed close more-than-just-business relationships with leaders from the travel industry and the other sectors of society. It was no surprise at all that many colleagues, associates and friends turned out in full force to wish him Godspeed.
As requested, guests came in their casual sporty get-ups with a good number donning ready to hit-the-golf- greens attire a simple reminder of an activity full of camaraderie Mark will surely miss.
Also in attendance were Honorary Consul of Canada Robert Lee and his charming wife Ana Lee, who we learned were Marks foster parents in Cebu. Also spotted was frequent traveler Marco Polo Diamond card member Robert Greville in animated conversation with David Tieng of Geologistics and the highly spirited, super likeable Honorary British Consul Moya Jackson, who was casually chic in a striking fuchsia shirt with visors to match over tailored white slacks.
Marks extended family CX dynamic team led by passenger sales supervisor Connie Cimafranca presented a video, which had friends from the travel industry sharing their impressions about a no-nonsense professional gentleman whom they have learned to respect and admire.
In closing, the staff surrendered to Mark his sketch in his golf togs done in charcoal. They likewise presented to Lawrence an elegant embroidered jusi barong Tagalog that will surely come in handy for his numerous official functions.
