Melissa launches first-ever collaboration with unisex label, Issey Miyake designer
MANILA, Philippines — Brazilian footwear and bag label Melissa recently launched its new collaboration collections in the Philippines.
Featuring styles that ignite movement and momentum, the reversible Melissa Mogu Bag + 52 by Hikaru Matsumura, designed in collaboration with the renowned fashion designer known for his work in the Issey Miyake Paris collection as well as being the chief designer of Pleats Please Issey Miyake. The bags for this exclusive line aim to seamlessly blend playful sophistication with firm structure and modular patterns available in yellow, white, black, and pink. By the end of December, the brand is bringing the Telly Jelly collection, the Brazilian label’s first-ever collaboration with the unisex fashion label, Telfar. Carrying a futuristic design while still maintaining its wearability, this range offers a fully transparent take on the partner brand’s ubiquitous shopping bags which come in small, medium, and large sizes, and white, black, brown, and pink. Additionally, the bags are accompanied by genderless unisex slides.
The Brazilian label’s new campaign, “Joyscapes,” targets to introduce fresh and eye-catching design. Each piece from the entire collection is meticulously developed and designed, and molded using the brand’s exclusive and sustainable Melflex materials.
