Ravishing: Krishnah Gravidez at 12th Mindanao Fashion Summit
CAGAYAN DE ORO , Philippines — From the rehearsals to the night of the fashion show, Krishnah Gravidez captivated everyone with her tantalizing catwalk.
She was the special guest model on Day 2 of the recent 12th Mindanao Fashion Summit held at the Ayala Malls Centrio.
Incidentally, as Miss Charm Philippines 2024, Krishnah succeeds hometown pride, Annabelle McDonnell, Miss Universe Philippines 2022 First Runner-up, who represented the country and placed first runner-up at Miss Charm 2023.
“'Twas a night full of creativity, fun, and colors! Congratulations to all of the Kagay-anon designers and thank you for having me,” Krishnah declares on her social-media posts.
Here, the chosen designers who dressed the Baguio City beauty describe their creations:
Carmel Kho Ricarte: “Designed with a blend of sophistication and allure, this stretchable jersey gown is intended to gracefully accentuate Krishnah’s curves, enhancing her innate beauty with a touch of understated class.
“The gown is adorned with intricate embellishments, including pearls and glittered beads, which add a sparkling touch. The silhouette of the gown is serpentina, creating a stunning overall look.”
Dandy Domingo: “My creation is about elegance, going with the flow, and embracing spontaneity. A free spirit that speaks about to nonconformity with trends and standing out from the crowd. My collection for this year is fun, exciting, free, comfortable, chic, relaxing and simple. At the same time, it sends a powerful message of strength, passion, grace and defiance.
“The gown is made of feather-like lace sheer fabric that symbolizes trust, honor, strength, wisdom, power, and freedom.”
Victor Bersales Tusing: “Krishnah wears a red Ibong Adarna-inspired serpentine gown with laser cuts using sequined cloth in full lined gazar fabric and four-sizes pattern for the feather design.”
Jermaine V. Nabong: “It’s a red serpentine couture gown, with bouffant, layered. pleated fabric on the skirt and ruffled one-sided accent in the shoulder, embellished with appliques of beads and crystals.”
Jie-jie Aisa: “My greatest love has always been using design to bring ideas to life. All I require is a great eye for detail and familiarity with current fashions. After a two-year break brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the three-day Mindanao Fashion Summit made a grand reappearance.
“My creation for Krishnah represents the fabled Oro Golden Fish, highlighting the genuine Kagay-anon embracing spirit that always overcomes any challenges in life. In fact, we are unbreakable. The kaleidoscopic color patterns signify our strength as the real jewels of Cagayan de Oro City—adaptable, warm, and compassionate—transformed this into something much more magical. Together, we become the City of Golden Friendship, truly represented in this piece.”
