Return The Philippines to Miss Universe Top 16! How to apply for Miss Universe Philippines 2023
MANILA, Philippines — With Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) 2022 Silvia Celeste Rabimbi Cortesi's return to the country, sporting a new haircut and coif, also comes the invitation of the Miss Universe Philippines Organization for hopefuls to file their applications for this year's national pageant; albeit in a somewhat quiet manner compared to its past blitz filled with pomp and funfare.
The country's longest semifinal streak at 12 (from 2010 to 2021) has been ended in the recently concluded 71st Miss Universe edition in New Orleans, Louisiana when the Philippines failed to make it to the Top 16.
In a social media post on Instagram, the MUPH wrote, "Are you the one for the crown? Being a queen doesn't stop with the beauty that is seen with the naked eye. It takes commitment, determination, and most importantly, it takes heart. Send your applications now."
