Meet the Century Tuna Superbods 2022 winners
Congratulations to beauty queen Christelle Abello and model Kirk Bondad for winning the Century Tuna Superbods 2022 competition!
Christelle and Kirk will take home P500,000 each, while the two runners-up, Michelle Arceo and Gee Plamenco Jr., will receive P200,000 each, tax-free. All four winners will also get a year’s worth of Century Tuna products and other exciting prizes.
This year’s star-studded Century Tuna Superbods 2022 Finals Night, held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, the official venue partner for this year’s competition, was nothing short of remarkable, dahlings. From exciting segments that showed off the 32 Superbod finalists’ personalities, as well as their fit and healthy bodies, to explosive performances from this year’s Century Tuna Superbods headliners Bea Alonzo and Alden Richards, and the awesome performance of Kyle Echarri, the hottest and sexiest event of the year finished on a truly high note. 2020 Superbods winners Samantha Lo and Sam Ajdani also joined the opening performance of the Superbods finalists.
Multi-hyphenate star Anne Curtis led the powerhouse panel of judges, together with founder and chairwoman of HOPE Nanette Medved-Po, 2014 Superbods winner and Southeast Asian Games medalist Mauro Lumba, and 2018 Superbods winner and Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne. The other judges were Century Pacific Food Inc. (CPFI) executive vice president and chief operating officer Greg Banzon, vice president and general manager for Tuna Division Carlo Endaya, and Carol San Pedro, PC&V Communications Inc. president and chief creative officer.
The special night, hosted by Mond Gutierrez, Sam YG and Gelli Victor, witnessed the 32 finalists flaunt their fit and healthy bodies through a series of runway walks with three different looks — Street, Swimwear and Evening Resort Wear — which led to the highly anticipated segment: the question-and-answer portion for the top 16.
The other top finalists in the female category were Pearl Gonzales, Julia Mendoza, Kerri Reilly, Selena Reyes, Vienne Shirin and Kim Velasco.
The other top male finalists were George Baker, Wani Manotoc, Paul Pedley, Patrick Ramirez, Jaime Santamaria and Erik Visser.
As always, Century Tuna delivered a great event, palanggas, which we missed during the pandemic.
