Lee Min Ho is the new face of Fendi Korea
MANILA, Philippines — World-renowned Korean actor Lee Min-ho has been announced as the new brand ambassador of Fendi in South Korea.
The Korean actor shared his excitement to represent the prestigious Italian brand.
"I am very honored to be a part of the Fendi family as an ambassador, a Maison that to me is rich in heritage as well as creativity. I look forward to an exciting adventure with the house," Lee Min-ho said.
The official visual accompaniment features Lee Min-ho wearing an ensemble from Fendi Men's Spring/Summer 2022 collection — a shirt paired with trousers, and topped off with Black Jacquard Blazer with Fendi Earth motif, and accessorized with the brand's iconic Peekaboo ISeeU Medium bag.
First rising to global fame with hit series "Boys Over Flowers" in 2009, Lee Min-ho has since become one of the sought-after Korean actors loved worldwide.
Apart from his Fendi stint, the actor is also starring in the upcoming Apple TV Plus series "Pachinko" set to be released globally on March 25.
A sprawling epic traveling through Korea, Japan and United States, the drama tells the story of a Korean immigrant family across four generations who leave South Korea to survive. The tale starts in the early 1900s, and is told through the eyes of Sunja (played by Youn Yuh-jung, Kim Minha and Jeon Yu-na), who triumphs against all odds.
In “Pachinko,” Lee Min-ho plays the role of Hansu.
“'Pachinko' has emotions that transcend borders, languages and generations, so I’m pretty sure everyone can feel those emotions and relate to them,” the K-drama star told Entertainment Tonight during the global premiere event of the series in Los Angeles, California.
He added, “We now live in a global community without any silos so we can easily share our story amongst each other and that’s why I think a lot of the once-neglected people are under light.”
