A sparkling ginger scent that's perfect for summer
Outgoing, forward and fearless, Twilly Eau Ginger is the sparkling third sister of the Twilly d’Hermès tribe. These Hermès “girls” are all woven around three main notes. Feminine peony opens the scent, which initially smells like iced ginger tea or a sparkling ginger ale that’s refreshing and perfect for summer. Inspired by light dancing on water
La Prairie’s new innovation White Caviar Essence Extraordinaire was inspired by how light dances on water. “Similarly we are fascinated by the dance of light on skin, and discovered surprising parallels,” says Dr. Daniel Stangl, La Prairie’s director of innovation.
They found that light entering the skin could be absorbed by pigments like the melanin in age spots. “Over time, the skin surface gets rough due to lack of moisture and the appearance of lines and wrinkles,” Stangl says. Consequently, reflection of light from the skin surface decreases, and your skin loses its luminosity and looks dull.
White Caviar Essence Extraordinaire counteracts these changes in three ways: “First, it increases moisture in the skin,” Stangl says. “The skin is plumped from within and its surface is evened out for a smooth finish and increased light reflection.
“Second, our new formula is infused with golden caviar extract, the signature caviar ingredient of the collection now made in Switzerland. It helps densify the collagen network in the dermis, thus increasing light reflection from within.
“And third, our innovation includes La Prairie’s extraordinary illuminating molecule Lumidose. It decreases the synthesis of the brown pigment melanin, thus reducing light-absorbing age spots for a more luminous skin.”
