Galerie Joaquin’s Carla and Nico Teotico

Galerie Joaquin managing director Jack Teotico delivered the opening remarks.

Rubio’s famous Filipiniana aesthetic was the eye-catching backdrop of the event. Maya Rubio, the artist’s daughter, showcased two Filipiniana designs inspired by her father’s paintings. Guests checked out Rubio’s paintings and sculptures that depict Old Manila, Chinatown and plantation life. Beautiful, palanggas.

Galerie Joaquin is proud to be a part of Rubio’s career as a visual artist. In fact, “Dominic Rubio Mondial” is also a celebration of the artist and the gallery’s strong relationship.

Check it out, palanggas.
