Miss Universe 1st runner-up Janine Tugonon tapped as Venus Williams’ model

MANILA, Philippines — Former beauty queen Janine Tugonon added another feather to her modeling cap as she has been recently tapped as one of the new models of tennis superstar Venus Williams’ active wear line.  

In her Instagram account, Janine posted a photo of her with Venus, announcing her modeling stint with EleVen By Venus.

The New-York based Filipina model is one of the models of the brand’s Caracas collection launched last February. 

Janine’s photos wearing the collection were posted on the brand’s Instagram account as early as February this year. 

After bagging the first runner-up award at Miss Universe 2012, Janine pursued her modeling career in New York. She is also the first Filipina featured in a Victoria’s Secret promotional material.
