MANILA, Philippines — Alice Dixson might be turning 50, but that does not stop her from trying new things.
Among the new ventures she recently tried is being a beauty “vlogger” (video blogger).
As an actress and a former beauty queen, Alice said she has amassed a lot of beauty tricks and tips through the years, which she now happily shares via her YouTube channel.
In an interview with Philstar.com, the “Ang Probinsyano” star shared her preparations and lessons learned from being a beauty vlogger. She also gave some tips for those who want to do the same.
Alice was among the celebrity guests at the recent Beauty Addict event in Rustan’s Makati.
This Christmas, Rustan’s the Beauty Source aims to become a home to countless beauty brands and services, including cult-favorites such as Clarins, Neal’s Yard Remedies, L’Occitane, Diptyque, Areum, Phyto, Deborah Lippmann, Chanel, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Perricone, Acca Kappa, La Prairie, Sisley, Laura Mercier, MAC, Hermes, Nuxe, Max Factor, Estee Lauder, and Nars, among others.
Exclusively distributed in the Philippines by Rustan Marketing Corporation, Covergirl has recently received certification that it has eliminated animal testing from every step of its production process, a move that is progressively gaining traction and demand from consumers. The certification will take a close look at the brand’s products, ingredients and supply chain to ensure that none of the products or ingredients from the brand (and its suppliers) are tested on animals.
The Beauty Source began its Christmas celebrations last October by supporting ICanServe Foundation, a proponent of early breast cancer detection that help “educate and empower women to be more conscious of their breast care.”
