A glittery gathering for IWCPI District 380
Nona Ricafort, the newly inducted district chairman of IWCPI District 380 for 2018-2019, is brilliant, accommodating and a natural mixer. Held at the ballroom of Club Filipino, the induction ceremonies were attended by about 800 dynamic and committed women in their long gowns and blings — complete with tiaras.
With the theme “Empower & Evolve,” the Inner Wheel Club of the Philippines District 380 held its 32nd District induction and handover ceremonies with civic leader, educator and businesswoman Dr. Nona S. Ricafort at the helm.

“Believing that destiny is not a thing to be waited for, but a thing to be achieve, we have planted our feet on a pathway, as we stand together, determined to embark in a journey of selfless service with commitment and teamwork,” Nona enthused.
International Inner Wheel president Christine Kirby concurred the statement in her congratulatory message saying, “It is only by the empowerment and mutual support of its members that we remain relevant to society and grow, because when we work together, positively and in friendship, greater success will follow.”

Donna Jiao, IWCPI national president, implored the newly inducted officers and club presidents to serve, “as the light of hope for those who are struggling to find strength in their everyday life.”
This elegant, glittering and relevant affair was a double celebration for Nona — who was joined by her husband Rotarian Benny Ricafort and family — as it coincided with her birthday.
