It was a blast! The joint birthday celebration of Cris Albert and Tessa Prieto-Valdes was recently held at the upscale Manila House hosted by Philippine Tatler editor in chief Anton San Diego. This stunning occasion was styled with pink flowers and dressed up by Anton himself. Superstar Duets champion Nar Cabico and his band, together with the owners of Red Turnip Theater Ana Abad Santos, Topper Fabregas, Jenny Jamora and Rem Zamora, played the music and set the night loose with the best classic songs. Anton even captivated the crowd with his singing voice, dahlings.

The celebration would not be complete without the presence of some pals of the celebrants, Christine Flores and JM Rodriguez, who sang and entertained Cris and Tessa. The best part of the day was when mega businessman Butch Albert serenaded his better half Cris, with the song My Girl.

Birthday wishes and champagne toasts did abound all around, from guests like Carlo Albert, Ralph Joseph of Ralph’s Wines, Jordan Mouyal, Charina Sarte-Kretz, Javi Martinez, David and Edna Chua and Patrick Rosas. There was endless singing like forever, dahlings.

Cris is in Milan for the Fashion Week with Fila on the runway last Sept. 23. Red Turnip Theater is staging A Doll’s House, Part 2 at the Zobel de Ayala Recital Hall, Maybank Performing Arts Theater, BGC Arts Center, which will run till Oct. 7.
