What’s with the bangs? Liza Soberano explains

MANILA, Philippines — During the press conference for “Bagani” in ABS-CBN on Thursday night, everybody noticed the new look of one of the show’s stars, Liza Soberano.
When asked by Philstar.com “What’s with the bangs?” here is what Liza said.
According to the actress, her hairstylist asked her if she wants to have bangs and she decided to give it a go.
“You look different,” the press con’s moderator, MJ Felipe, commented.
“Wala lang, nabobore lang ako dun sa mahabang hair ko sa ‘Bagani.’ Para maiba naman!” Liza said.
Soberano has been considered a beauty and fashion trendsetter. In 2017, she has been described by Vogue as “a style star to watch.” She was also included in The STAR’s “29 Most Bright and Beautiful” list.
In “Bagani,” Liza plays Ganda, “isang taga-patag,” said the actress.
She further gave a background on the character she plays in the series, besides taping for her upcoming flick, “Darna.”
“Kapatid ko po ang pinuno n gaming angkan. As you see, meron akong guilt dahil feeling ko namatay ang parents ko dahil sa’kin. So hanggang nayon, kine-keri ni Ganda ‘yung guilt na ‘yun, kaya feeling ko, sobrang laki ng responsibility n’ya sa kanyang angkan na protektahan. And also si Ganda, hindi s’ya marunong makidigma.
