A night of beauty & glamour
With black-and-white as theme for the night, you can’t go wrong, dahlings, as the happily married (at last) Dr. Vicki Belo and her hard-to-beat team of doctors showed up in full beauty force at the Solta Medical event held recently at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-La Fort.
“The Black Diamond Award, as its name implies, is a rare and highly coveted award given to dermatology centers for having the most number of treatments, recognizing the highest level of client satisfaction in service and results,” explained a die-hard Belo follower and client Jojie Dingcong, naturalmente.
It was a glorious night for Belo Medical Group as they bagged the Black Diamond Award as the number one Thermage Center, second year in a row. An honor that truly reaffirms that their expertise leads the way to unparalleled beauty results, dahlings.
Together with this award, eight doctors were newly certified adding to the roster of 27 Thermage internationally trained specialists.
Belo Medical group is the first and the only internationally accredited aesthetic clinic by NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals) International. Well, now you know, palanggas.
A dazzling and unforgettable affair definitely to remember. A magical occasion for Dr. Vicki Belo, her team of doctors who stole the evening in their breathtaking red carpet ensembles, the eternally supportive Belo endorsers and the Belo Medical Group famillie were truly aglow during the gala of glitz and glamour, à la Belo, dahlings.
Oh, no! it’s Johnny! with Arcachat
(Standing) Boy Martinez with director Zaldy Bonalos, Joe Rebano, ABS-CBN Film Archive and Restoration head Leo Katigbak, director Butch Llige, director Manni Coloma; (seated) Pam Llige, director of content and programming HOOQ Jeff Remigo, the author, Roselle Rebano, Johnny Litton
As the New Year starts, birthday celebrator Roselle Del Rosario-Rebano gathered the key staff in the production of ABS-CBN’s late night talk show of the late 1990s in a nostalgic evening of viewing excerpts of Johnny Litton’s opening monologues and Maurice Arcache’s iconic “Arcachat.” The Oh, No! It’s Johnny! reunion at the Penthouse of the Del Rosario Law Centre, Bonifacio Global City was a fun-filled evening of reminiscing memories gathered over the last 30 years. Wow, time does zoom by if one is on the go, n’est-ces pas?
New into production at the very beginning of the TV show was executive producer Leo Katigbak who taught me the tricks of the trade during our first couple of shows, joined by seasoned director Zaldy Bonalos. Newbies then, my mentor during our shows, Jeff Remigio, helped pen the hilarious how to’s of “Arcachat” while Butch Llige managed to put together guests for the weekly episodes. Though ONIJ ended its run in the year 2000, to this day, I still get called “Arcachat” and “Johnny by Oh, No!”
Our 13 years of weekly appearances on television will always be remembered with great fondness. Indeed, we had a good team managed by top gal with a vision Roselle R. as the mega producer, palanggas.
Roselle R. was beyond happy beside her husband Joe, DelRosario Law partner son Jerby and daughter Ria. It was an evening of tons of fun and laughter with the celebrator chatting non-stop with Click Licensing Asia’s Marilu Corpus, Badong and Diwi Castanos, designer and image consultant Delby Bragais and husband Trez, Ambassador of Hungary Jozsef Benzce, beautypreneur Nikki Tang, Hoseki’s Faico and Zabeth Co, Wilcon’s Rosemarie and Tony Ong, Exuviance by Ross owner Ross Licup, dahlings, among the other memorable individuals present.
I was enjoying the views from the glass walls of the high-ceiling Penthouse and I thank the Almighty for occasions to see and talk to “old” true friends who helped Johnny, Roselle and I in our younger years of successfulness and popularity, palanggas.
