Pia stuns in Michael Cinco designs at Miss Universe preliminary show
MANILA, Philippines – Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach continued to wow audiences in her final days as the pageant’s queen.
As she hosted the 65th Miss Universe preliminary competition at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday evening, Wurtzbach still stood out in gowns made by Dubai-based Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco, who has dressed A-list celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears.
Pia helped introduce candidates during the preliminary show and was also given a short video tribute.
For her first look, Wurtzbach wore Cinco’s Barong Tagalog-inspired modern terno. It also had a mermaid cut that highlighted Wurzbach’s curves.
Wurtzbach’s second look, on the other hand, matched that of her co-host for the night, Derek Ramsay. She wore a body-hugging black gown from Cinco's Couturissimo collection, while Ramsay wore a black tuxedo.
The reigning Miss Universe’s gown had a see-through fishnet back detail, making her sizzle even more during her hosting stint.
She is set to turn over her crown to the next Miss Universe on January 30, also at the Mall of Asia Arena.
