Interstellar appeal

UNOde50’s Universe Collection features the classic double-faced cowhide in bracelets and necklaces.

MANILA, Philippines - Spanish brand UNOde50 takes its artisanal jewelry and accessories to another dimension as it takes another journey from the earth to the sky in the Universe Collection, its new line for fall-winter 2015.

The journey begins on Earth with terrestrial elements that evoke strength and energy — metal alloys made with hypoallergenic treatments, and leather tanned with vegetable dyes. It then takes us to the Sky: white and gray pearls that represent the lunar phases; it lets us touch the stars through tiny colored Swarovski crystals.

Parts of the collection are planetary orbits — spheres and circular pieces — on XL silver plated chains, through which the UNOde50 design team takes us through a telescope on a universal journey.

Through its creativity, unique style, bold spirit, and 100-percent Spanish handcrafted pieces, UNOde50 is truly set apart from the rest. Founded in the late 1990s by the group of designers resolved to establish brand of fashion jewelry and accessories that would break all existing molds, the brand started out with an exclusive philosophy of creating only 50 units of each design, thereby supplying the trademark name. This unorthodox approach soon proved an unqualified success.

Today, UNOde50 has more than 50 shops in Spain and over 25 abroad — in some of the world’s top fashion capitals such as New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Milan, Rome and Amsterdam. It opened its first store in Southeast Asia in partnership with SM Retail at SM Aura Premier last May, creating excitement with its artisan process.

UNOde50 is located at the Second Level of SM Aura Premier, the Third Floor of SM Megamall’s Mega Fashion Hall, at the Second Level of the SM Mall of Asia ‘s Main Hall, at the Ground Floor of SM Makati, and at the Ground Floor of SM Store’s Branded Accessories Section in SM City Cebu.
