Vero Moda sees a playful season of denims and prints

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - It’s time to restock and update your closet with the new season’s must-haves. Now, where best to get the trendy goods? Vero Moda, which, in just a year since it was brought to Manila by Suyen Corporation, has established itself as Pinay fashionistas’ go-to store for pieces that reflect the latest fashion trends and are reasonably priced at the same time.

Established in 1987, Vero Moda is the brainchild of Bestseller founder Troels Holch Povlsen. Bestseller is a family-owned company founded in Denmark in 1975 by Merete Bech Povlsen and Troels Holch Povlsen. It is also the company behind fashion wear and accessories brands Jack & Jones, Juna Rose, Name It, Mamalicious, Object Collectors Item, Only, Outfitters Nation, Pieces, Selected and Vila Clothes.

Known as one of Europe’s largest clothing brands for fashion-conscious and independent young women, Vero Moda has a spring 2015 mood board that shows a playful personality with a theme rooted on the idea of friendship.

Starring in the campaign are models Adesuwa Aighewi, Nadine Leopold and Crista Cober whose playfulness in the shots has contributed in successfully conveying the brand’s message of “sharing fashion and fun with friends.”

The season’s most dominant trends are rendered in exotic floral print on sporty items like a bomber jacket and a pair of shorts; off-the-shoulder jersey tops combined with softly flared trousers; and pretty pastels mixed with primary colors and worn in layers. There are denim pieces in different washes and with different details.

Vero Moda is located at SM Megamall and SM Aura Premier.
