French shoe brand opens first store at SM Mega Fashion Hall
MANILA, Philippines - Não Do Brasil, a French brand of footwear handcrafted in Brazil, recently opened its first store in Southeast Asia at SM Megamall’s Mega Fashion Hall. Iconic Lifestyle Marketing Inc. holds the exclusive rights for marketing Não Do Brasil products in the country.
Não Do Brasil shoes are handcrafted in Brazil and over 70 percent of the materials used in Não shoes are recycled or salvaged, giving them a second life. The material used for the body of the shoe comes from select end-of-line stock from the Brazilian shoe industry. The injected soles are made from recycled PVC collected by impoverished people, giving you the opportunity to help them.
Five workshops in different parts of Brazil work on minute details in the production of these shoes. Every Não pair requires, on average, 34 operations performed by seven craftsmen. Most of the shoes use material and hues that are available only for a season and may never again be reproduced. This makes each pair truly one of a kind.
Não Do Brasil currently has eight shoe lines with over 3,000 color combinations. These include the Caipi, Não de Brasil’s trademark product, which comes in 14 sizes and 160 color combinations; Noite for casual evenings; Altai with semi-boot-cut pairs with thicker soles; and Baiana, a semi-boot style that uses a single material.
There is also Keria, which is similar to the Caipi, but has an adjusted cut to make wear easier; Dria, meaning “energy and drive”; Praia, Não de Brasil’s true design and technological treasure; and Massai, Não’s latest style. There is also Não for Kids for carefree and stylish children.
