The cotton season is on

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Aussie clothing brand Cotton On rocks the fashion scene this year as it continues to bring fast-paced fashion to the selling floors at easy-on-the-pocket prices. With the recent celebration of Australia Day, striking colors of red and blue dominate the key trends. Truly, the Aussie vibe of casual cool is felt in the store.

The new collection includes styles that cover different personalities of guys and girls. Themes surrounding the menswear include the So-Cal Krew, featuring printed polos matched with cuffed pants or slim trackies; Occupy Brooklyn with printed tees and fleece; Bleached Blues where bleached denim bases go best with basic tees, and College Lawn that’s most popular with slim shirts paired with cuffed shorts or slim chinos.

Ladies can get their Aussie on with the Bondi Fly featuring graphic tees worn under shortalls (jumpers). For a daintier look, Eclectic Boheme is available with dresses and open knits. This collection includes a lot of denim bases — now adding bleached shorts and pants, worn with iconic basic tops to pull off the look!

Selected stores also feature shoes from Rubi, a brand well known for sandals, ballet flats and fashion wedges; as well as Cotton On Body that has a broad range of printed and colorful intimates (underwear), sleepwear, swimwear, and its famous active wear.

Cotton On is now open in Ayala Centrio, Ayala North Point, Bonifacio High Street, Glorietta 5, Greenbelt 3, Lucky Chinatown, Robinson’s Magnolia, Robinson’s Place Manila, SM Aura, SM Bacoor, SM General Santos, SM Lanang, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM North Edsa, and UP Town Center. More stores are opening this year.
