CWC holds ‘Clothes for a Cause’

MANILA, Philippines - The Catholic Women’s Club, which was founded in 1921,  will hold “Clothes for a Cause,” which is slated from Nov. 14 to 17, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Glorietta, Ayala Center, Makati City. Now in its 17th year, CWC’s major fundraising activity will be held in cooperation with Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) through the generosity of CWC member Bea Zobel de Ayala. Slightly used clothes, bags, belts, and shoes donated by celebrities and CWC members and friends will be sold at reasonable prices.

Proceeds will help kids of Elsie Gaches Village. There will also be a mini bazaar. CWC is headed by Maritess Pineda, president; Mimi Valerio, chairperson; and Nikki Valerio and Terry Tambunting, co-chairs.
