Behind the scenes with The Lylas
MANILA, Philippines -Robinsons Department Store takes fans of international all-girl pop band The Lylas behind the scenes of their photo shoot, which shows the girls working the camera and posing in fun, funky and fabulous ensembles.
Shot in Venice, California, Jaime, Tahiti, Tiara and Presley recently took time out from filming their new, eponymously titled reality series, which is set to air on US network WeTV this November, to show off the latest collections from the Ladies Department of Robinsons Department Store.
The girls chan ged from one outfit to the next, which were carefully handpicked by the stylists and the girls themselves. “We like the fashion that Robinsons Department Store has,†Tahiti exclaimed. “All pieces are spot-on with our individual styles,†Tiara affirmed.
In their denim outfits, the girls stand against a brightly painted graffiti wall at the beach. Jaime and Presley broke the denim-on-denim rule by playing with different washes of the fabric to pull off the look. Jaime showed off her demure style while Presley highlighted her urban vibe. Tahiti’s cropped top and light denim shorts accentuated her toned physique, while Tiara showed a different side of sexy in her edgy cutout tank.
The girls strutted along the intersection of Windward and Pacific Avenue in Venice in classic sexy heels from Privileged. Jaime kept things modest with a sweetheart neckline dress accented with a bold belt. Pressley wore just the right amount of bling with her gold and sparkly frock. Tahiti vamped it up in a formfitting cropped top and skirt. Tiara personified the glam rock queen in a sequined dress.
For their take on a wardrobe essential, the sisters took a basic dress shirt and added their own style staples. Jaime paired it with a flattering pencil-cut skirt; Tahiti with a pair of breezy denim shorts; Presley tied her top and set it off with a bright maxi shirt; and Tiara softened her tough-girl look with faded pink denim. They completed the look with vivid Privileged heels.
Showing what girl power is all about these days, their mix of trendy and feminine looks are perfect for day-to-night gimmicks. Jaime donned a quilted floral jacket that complemented her body-conscious top and skirt. Presley chose a blush-colored dress with gold details on the neckline and shoulders. Tahiti livened her button-down pink blouse with tailored black shorts sporting gold details on the pockets, while Tiara teamed her faux leather maroon skirt with a sheer printed cream blouse.
