Inspired by the best qualities of the country’s biggest stars, Bench is relaunching its fragrance collaborations with Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, Kris Aquino and Gretchen Barretto.
Set amid a backdrop of enchanting greenery, the Bench Celebrity Scents Collection relaunch echoes a garden paradise for its theme. Each fragrance promises to bring you closer to your favorite star. Case in point is celebrity power couple Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez’s perfume line for Bench. Richard and Lucy were very hands-on in developing each other’s fragrance. The entire collection is something we can all relate to as it speaks of love — a testament to the couple’s emotional relationship and commitment to each other.
During product development it was Richard who created Love Eau de Toilette for Lucy. Love is a light romantic scent that reminds Richard of his favorite images of his wife: walking hand in hand with Juliana on the beach; applying lipstick; and her pretty smile. It is a warm, sweet and loving fragrance that embodies Richard’s perception of Lucy as it starts off with fresh floral green notes enhanced with sparkling citrus and marine accords.
In developing Conquer Eau de Toilette, Lucy wanted to evoke Richard’s strong, masculine personality. Its fresh, clean, fougere composition with notes of lavender, geranium, moss and wood pops with a cooling ozonic marine twist. Conquer is a scent that works well for the active man, reflecting his competitive side as he conquers his way to the top.
Another showbiz couple, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, share Richard and Lucy’s pride in collaborating with Bench on a perfume line. Ogie’s OPM Platinum is infused with a woody aromatic scent while his OPM Gold features long-lasting oriental notes. Regine Velasquez’s signature scents complement Ogie’s. Reigne Eau De Toilette gives off a floral, woody scent with a hint of musk. Her Songbird Eau De Toilette flaunts her feminine charm with floral notes that leave a lasting impression.
Another celebrity scent that is sure to be a hit is the lovely and romantic Kris Aquino’s Purple Eau De Toilette. It’s a medley of floriental and fruity scents. The first whiff is a concoction of rose and violet flowers. The middle note is infused with citrus and berries. The long-lasting scent is sandalwood. Included in the Kris Aquino fragrance line is the Lilac Shimmer Body Spray and Lavender Hair Mist, which both smell similarly fragrant as Purple Eau De Toilette.
