Estee Lauder’s color trend for 2013: Naughty but nice and sexy
MANILA, Philippines - Estee Lauder introduces a deceptively sensual limited-edition trend collection for 2013: Pure Color Pretty Naughty. Optimistic yet not overly sweet, the world of watercolor pastels is taken to new heights by infusing an urban synthetic vibe for a youthful and modern twist.
“I wanted to create a collection for the woman who is sexy yet romantic. Pretty Naughty is very pastel, but also a little naughty in a gentle, discreet way,†says Tom Pecheux, creative makeup director, Estée Lauder.
Eyes are washed in a flight of fanciful soft tones and lined in discreet flashes of dark pigments to create dramatic emphasis and contrast, while cheeks are flushed with a tint of color for a naturally innocent and glowing finish. Lips are softly touched by vividly sheer shades in satin textures and nails complete the look with a sultry new interpretation of lilac.
Estee Lauder’s Pure Color Pretty Naughty will be available at Rustan’s Makati and Rustan’s Shangri-La.

’Tis the season for simplicity, says MAC
MAC declares ’tis the season when the key beauty notion is one of simplicity with a forward-thinking freshness to it.
This is to be found in the purity of a perfectly pared back skin. A languid wash of color that takes in shades of highly pigmented pastels. A monochromatic Bedouin bronze, blurred on the eyes and bone structure. An easy graphicism of purist color blocked on lids or lips.
MAC is available at Rustan’s.
