Such an experience was recently concretized when smartphone brand Sony Xperia collaborated with Filipino designer Rhett Eala.
Highlighting the power of the perfect pairing and how it results in something greater, Sony Xperia takes off from the beauty of sharing. “It’s all about being better together, but still being complete on your own,†says Patrick Larraga, head of mobile business for Sony Philippines.
Top designer Rhett Eala crafted a limited-edition tee for Sony Xperia that conveys the beauty of such synergy, aesthetically showing that each one is made to inter-connect and find their ideal fit, whether a person or a product.
“Sony wanted me to create a signature piece, something that people would recognize as truly Xperia,†says Eala. Most certainly, the brand that sparks strong recall with its products’ trademark designs chose the right person; who, in his own right, is as iconic as his coveted style creations.
Of course, it comes as no surprise that both designs were created to complement each other. “It’s all about the power of the perfect pairing, so even the shirts were made for tandems,†the designer explains. “But like Sony Xperia’s campaign message, each design stands out well on its own already –– it just becomes that much better when you put them together.â€
Larraga concludes that Eala is definitely the perfect match for Sony Xperia. “Partnering with Rhett for this particular campaign has been a great experience.
