Swimwear that saves our sea turtles

Vilebrequin opened its newest home in the Philippines last September — at Bonifacio High Street Central.

MANILA, Philippines - French swimwear Vilebrequin recently opened its newest store at Bonifacio High Street Central. Known for its original graphics and print design, Vilebrequin distinguishes its active wear with its exclusive cotton-touch polyamide fabric, cotton mesh liner and refined details.

The Vilebrequin world includes between 50 and 70 exclusive designs updated twice a year. The “Classic” line uses bold, bright colors in combination with the brand’s iconic prints: stripes, flowers, fruits and animals. The “Saint-Tropez” line, a more subtle and understated range of solids, is available in a rich palette featuring over 50 colors from pastel to dark and neutral to bright. The “Collection” line features limited edition models with fabrics embroidered in French ateliers and drawstring tips made of silver.

To celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2011, Vilebrequin and Fabien Cousteau, grandson of Jacques Cousteau, joined together for a commitment to environmental protection in a tangible way: Vilebrequin is supporting Fabien Cousteau’s Plant A Fish Foundation in the reintroduction of some sea turtles, also the brand’s icon, to the environment.

In the Philippines, Vilebrequin is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI). It is available in Rustan’s Makati and Bonifacio High Street Central, Taguig City.
