MANILA, Philippines - Jojie Lloren redefines the Rustan’s woman yet again as he takes womenswear labels Jill and Luna on a trip around the world with a fashion presentation on Oct. 4 at Rustan’s, Shangri-La Mall.
Lloren won the Grand Prix at the Concours International des Jeunes Createurs de Mode in 1998. As one of his prizes, he attended Ecoles de Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, where he learned couture techniques in draping and sewing.
For the multi-tasking femme, Jill unveils prêt-a-porter with a penchant for the classics, a generous helping of contemporary details, intriguing cuts and patterns. Dreamy textile and design elements likewise make this label a comfortable choice for the ruling class woman. For the new collection, Jojie Lloren gives Jill a jolt of the eclectic, mixing the tribal prints and ethnic patterns of Africa, China, South East Asia, India, the Aztecs and Native America. Found in everything from tunics to cigarette pants and printed leggings, cropped jackets to shift dresses, scarves and long-sleeved blousons, the new Jill collection is a delight to mix, match, pile and layer.
Luna, on the other hand, is the lady with a leg of luxury, elegantly dressed in timeless designs. For Luna’s new collection, Jojie Lloren harnesses the allure of exotic oils and precious gems. With strategic gathering, draping and pleating, Jojie Lloren gives fluid evening dresses sedate opulence and sexy sophistication.
This holiday season, Jill and Luna travel the world and bring home souvenirs best found in your closet. In the imagination of Jojie Lloren, the mix of cultures is a delight –– draped, donned, and deliciously decked for the modern Filipina.
