Gucci defines modern-day romanticism'

MANILA, Philippines - For autumn/winter 2012-2013, the Gucci woman defines new facets of femininity.

“This is modern-day romanticism, a dramatic sensuality, a dark glamour,” explains creative director Frida Giannini.

The collection features long, dreamy dresses, short harness jackets, equestrian-style pants, oversized coats, smoking jackets, chiffon inserts on the blouses with harnesses, uniform-inspired dress coats and soft velvet skirts. These refined pairings of seemingly lived-in pieces with military accents leave a trail of fatal seduction.

For evening wear, there are long dresses in double layers of wrinkled tulle embroidered with floral patterns of micro crystals and sequins masterfully sewn by hand.

In the Philippines, Gucci is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) and is located at Greenbelt 4, Ayala Center and Rustan’s Tower Shangri-La Plaza Mall.
