ForMe and for you

Filipino-British model, host, and cupcake queen Patti Grandidge, who unraveled her sexy side in Esquire’s May 2012 issue, is back to her sweet and charming self — this time as the newest brand ambassador of ForMe.

Fashion is all about newness. And so ForMe constantly looks for fresh faces with charming personalities to best represent the brand.

“Our previous endorser Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach worked well for us. We wanted someone who could replicate what she had done for the brand, someone who could provide the same interest, the same excitement. We were looking for a woman who is active, confident, and who possesses that certain charm and sweetness. Well, Patti Grandidge fits the bill,” enthuses Alice Liu, Golden ABC VP for merchandising.

Patti is as real as a working girl could get, which is exactly what ForMe stands for: “clothes that celebrate the uniqueness of women, in whatever form or shape they’re in,” Liu adds.

Aside from hosting Etcetera on ANC, Patti personally bakes and markets her gorgeous Sweet Patti cupcakes on line.

“I’m a busy bee. I host TV shows, I bake, I love fashion, and most of all, I love to eat — but I work a lot, too! I’m the type who loves to get busy. It excites me when there are a lot of things going on around me,” Patti shares.

Patti is no newbie to the fashion world. In fact, she did pictorials for SM when she was just two years old. Patti has also done photo shoots for Oxygen before, another Golden ABC Inc. brand, so it wasn’t that difficult to convince her to be the new face of ForMe.

“I’ve also had modeling stints in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Japan, but nothing as fab as this. Being the image model of ForMe is one of the highlights of my modeling career. I feel honored to be part of the Golden ABC Inc. family. I love how ForMe lets women look stylish from daytime to evening, from weekday to weekend, and that it could fit whatever lifestyle you lead,” Patti adds.

Parisian flair

Recognized as a trailblazer in the Philippine retail industry, Golden ABC Inc. gave fashion-savvy Filipinos access to affordable but stylish pieces through its successful brands such as Penshoppe, Oxygen, Memo, Regatta, Tyler, and ForMe.

“ForMe takes pride in being the only Filipino-owned fashion brand that meets women’s different body shapes and styles. We believe that our commitment to our clients provides them utmost confidence, beauty, and most importantly style,” says Alice Liu, Golden ABC VP for merchandising, during the launch of ForMe’s Charme Francais collection at the Grand Ballroom of The Peninsula Manila.

Inspired by the vibrant lifestyle of Paris, the collection boasts stylish pieces that are fab, flirty, and fun to wear. Vintage-inspired details such as pleating, draping, flat collars, and dolman sleeves dominate the collection. Lace and dainty prints add up to the girly look.

“There are about 40 to 50 pieces in the collection, but items will be delivered in batches to the stores monthly for shoppers to enjoy. All of these are especially designed for modern, independent, and confident women like Patti,” notes Alice.

During the mini-fashion show, Patti and other models glided down the ramp in figure-hugging dresses, leggings in white, red, and black, which they mixed and matched with girly tops in chiffon and lightweight materials.

“We live a very dynamic lifestyle. Most of us recreate ourselves by putting our best selves forward every single day. ForMe really understands the modern, contemporary, dynamic, and self-motivated Filipinas. I do hope to inspire and connect with other women to be their best selves, perhaps starting from the way they want to feel and look,” remarks Patti.

ForMe believes that it’s easy to wear pieces that will give women the confidence to look and feel good about themselves. It’s all about knowing your body, highlighting your assets, and wearing stylish pieces that flatter your unique body shape.

“Don’t be afraid to experiment with different styles to change your look — your fashion persona can be as dynamic as you are,” adds Patti.
