Dear Lucy,
How do I achieve the no-makeup look? I have pretty good skin so I feel that I really do not need makeup, but I want to look polished because I have a corporate job. I want makeup that makes skin look healthy and dewy.
Lucille
This is my favorite thing to do now. I mix Anew Genics Treatment Concentrate with Clinique Even Better Makeup with SPF15. The latter evens and corrects, and together with Anew Genics, skin looks perfect in a most natural way. That will serve as your foundation and to set it, I use a very fine powder from Becca. You will be amazed at how you will look so pulled together while allowing your skin to still shine through. To complete that natural look, it is advisable to use a cream blush right before the Becca pressed or loose powder.

When It Comes To Foundation, Less Is More
Hi, Regina!
How much foundation am I supposed to use for my face?
Christine
That really depends on how much you think you need. Some girls will only need a pea-sized amount or even less, just to nix redness or minimize discoloration, but some will need more than that to get the kind of coverage they’re looking for. For foundation, the trick is to start with very little, and just keep adding the product as necessary. (Also, picking a foundation formula that suits your needs is key. Do you need light coverage? Medium coverage? Full coverage? Try the foundation finish before you buy it, just to see how you like it.) Use as little foundation as you can get away with. Like Rissa once told me, you want people to notice how pretty you are, not how pretty your makeup is.
If you don’t really need foundation (lucky you!) but would like a little help perfecting your skin tone or just looking extra flawless, consider a tinted moisturizer or a BB cream instead. They feel lighter than even the lightest foundation formulas, they’re hydrating and have skincare benefits, and they give adequate coverage. (Cover up any stubborn spots with concealer and you’ll likely be good to go.) The less heavy makeup you wear on a daily basis, the better it’ll be for your skin.

Lipstick Tip For Smudge-Free Teeth
Hi, Rissa!
How do I prevent lipstick smudge on the teeth?
Joy
It happens all the time to us women, but it can still get a bit embarrassing to have lipstick on your teeth. Not all of us have awesome friends who will discreetly tell us about it and save us from the situation.
But before you pout, here’s a simple trick we models use backstage before a fashion show or during a photo shoot. It may sound funny, but it really works! After applying your lipstick, stick your index finger in your mouth. Pucker up and close your lips around your finger and pull your finger out. This should remove any excess lipstick that would rub off your teeth. You can easily do the same before you step out of the house or after each time you retouch your lipstick.
