Dato' Raja Rezza brings Islamic Festival to Manila
MANILA, Philippines - Dato’ Raja Rezza Shah, Malaysian Royalty from Kalantan, Malaysia and International Ambassador of Peace and Oxford Center of Leadership United Kingdom will be arriving on Feb. 21 from London to meet up with his staff of 20 to ensure the success of the Islamic Fashion Festival. He will attend the screening of Manila models who will wear creations of various Southeast Asian designers. Ace director Robbie Carmona and Moppet Aquino of Saga Events, Inc., the official events agency of this year’s Islamic Fashion Festival, is at the helm, coordinating two fashion shows to be held on Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 24, lunch time, both at the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Intercontinental Hotel.
The guest of honor for these events will be the Malaysian Prime Minister’s wife, Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor. The purpose of the show is, to quote Datu Rezza, “to bring together different ideas in the meaningful exchange that celebrates beauty in diversity, encourage creative expression, to invigorate interaction among people.”
