Ferragamo's new Greenbelt shop: Shoe sleek

-

MANILA, Philippines - Manila’s elite and fashionable crowd gathered for a star-studded event as Italian luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo recently celebrated the reopening of its flagship store in the Philippines.

The event, hosted by Salvatore Ferragamo regional chief executive officer for Asia Pacific Paul Cadman, Stores Specialists Inc. president Zenaida R. Tantoco and executive vice president Anthony Huang, was held at the Greenbelt 4, Ayala Center, in Makati.

Together with Ambassador Bienvenido Tantoco Sr., they led the ribbon-cutting ceremony along with guests of honor Jaime Zobel de Ayala and Bea Zobel de Ayala, Italian Ambassador Luca Fornari and wife Silvana, officially launching the newly renovated Salvatore Ferragamo boutique.

The new store’s interior has an understated and sophisticated look that highlights the products’ fine quality through a modern and harmonious use of space. Contemporary white décor fused with traditional warm, walnut-colored hues create a calm and cozy ambiance. Featuring clean lines, floating surfaces and airy shapes, the new store encapsulates the Florentine brand’s hallmark characteristics of elegance and luxury.

Simultaneous with the reopening of the flagship store in the Philippines was a red-carpet affair to launch the newest project of the brand. Red Carpet, the first-ever made-to-order shoe service from Salvatore Ferragamo, allows women to choose from a selection of four models, including pumps, sandals and open-toe, select the color from a palette of 23 shades of satin, and receive their Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, made by the Florentine maison, after eight weeks.

Today’s hottest celebrities graced the event, donning the AW2011 collection of Salvatore Ferragamo, including box-office princess Anne Curtis, sultry actress Solenn Heussaff, and “it” girl Sam Pinto. Other trendsetters present at the affair were Liz Uy, Mika Lagdameo-Martinez, and Alex Escat.

Offering a complete range of Italian-crafted products, the newly renovated Salvatore Ferragamo boutique on the ground floor of Greenbelt 4, Makati (open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., tel. 757-6270), gives you the chance to have your very own unique pair of shoes just like an A-list celebrity.

In the Philippines, Salvatore Ferragamo is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists Inc. (SSI). Other shops are located at Power Plant Mall, Rustan’s Tower, Rustan’s Makati, Alabang Town Center, Newport Mall and Rustan’s Ayala Cebu.
