These Adora-ble scents make a lot of sense

Dear Rissa,

My boyfriend finds my perfume too strong so I’m looking for a new scent. Perhaps one that is fresher — relaxing and not too irritatingly powerful. Hopefully something that lasts long, too. Can you recommend one?

Getting rid of skin toxins

I have blotchy skin. I hate saying that, but it is true. Although it is smooth, I really am unhappy about the appearance — I have acne marks, dark spots, dullness in my skin. What can I do/use?

A long-term solution would be to go on a cleanse. A good cleanse will make your skin look and feel better. Toxins in the body are such evil culprits, do not underestimate them. Please check also with your dermatologist, maybe the skincare regimen you are currently using is not giving you maximum results and you may probably have to switch to a new one.

A lesson in elevator courtesy

Dear Ms. Tingting,

What is the proper way to enter an elevator, please? By the time everybody inside comes out, the door is closing on those trying to enter.

The key courtesy here is holding the door which I have seen many times.  (Thanks to some people’s thoughtfulness and let’s go for this).  If the person nearest the button panel keeps the doors open long enough for the those exiting, followed by those entering, more people would feel safe and set an example in courtesy.
