Search for the next Redhead model is on

What girl wouldn’t want to be a fashion model?

MANILA, Philippines - When GTW of SM Department Store recently launched the Redhead Model Search to find the next three ambassadors for the clothing brand, the answer was clear as swarms of young, fashionable, and outgoing gals flocked to the Virtual Catwalk tour to join the search.

With a total of eight stops during the mall tour, aspiring models walked the Redhead Virtual Catwalk and had a blast. Not only did the participants get to strut their stuff in front of the camera, they also got free mini makeovers courtesy of Maybelline.

For those who couldn’t make it to the tour, the girls uploaded their entries online for a chance to be the next face of Redhead.

Then there were 12

Several promising talents were discovered but only 12 girls made the cut: Frances Karla Paderna, Bianca Louise Maloles, Marie Camille Vicencio, Avonlea Paula Paraiso, Emerald Alshammari, Arielle Roces, Ruth Sabrina Linganay, Denisse Mikaela Abuan, Carllyn Bacila, Magnolia Tan Felix, Chamie Abella, and Ara Manuel.

Once the top 12 were chosen, it was time to determine who had the best potential by asking them to undergo a series of challenges aimed at schooling them on everything they needed to know about being a fashion model. With the help of top fashion industry experts, the girls learned about the basics of personality and speech development, ramp walking, photography modeling and how to look and dress like a professional model.

Who will make the top 3?

From the top 12, three participants will be the winners of the Redhead Model Search. The top three will be determined based on their performance in the series of challenges they took on as well as the public’s vote.

The top three will win a 12-month modeling contract with SM Department store, fabulous prizes and most importantly, become the new faces of SM’s Redhead clothing line.

Past Redhead model winners Alex, K-La and Tanny really shone and embodied the spirit of the Redhead clothing brand: young, chic and fashionable.
