Dream it, do it!
MANILA, Philippines - Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop, had a dream. She dreamt of a new way of doing business that could be ethical and profitable at the same time. She dreamt of changing the beauty industry by inspiring women to look the way they want to and to pursue their own desires, regardless of what society dictates.
This vision inspired the creation of The Body Shop. In honor of such an extraordinary woman and to continue her mission of empowering dreams, The Body Shop recently held The Dreamers Party in its Glorietta branch, Makati City. The affair unveiled The Body Shop’s newest fragrance, Dreams Unlimited.
Marian Alarcon, category manager of The Body Shop, says, “We are delighted to introduce Dreams Unlimited. This uplifting fragrance is our way of bringing positivity and empowerment to life. This exhilarating fragrance delivers that feel-good factor that rouses us to believe that we can achieve our unlimited dreams; that anything and everything is possible.”
A set of memorable scents that give off that uplifting, energetic, and positive vibe, the Dreams Unlimited fragrance is a unique combination of vegetable freshness and feminine florals passionately created by two of the world’s finest noses: Loc Dong, creator of CK Euphoria, Marc Jacobs, and Michael Kors perfumes, and Anne Flipo, creator of YSL L’Homme and La Nuit de L’Homme, A. McQueen My Queen, Givenchy V. Irresistible Men, and L’Artisan Parfumeur.
The Body Shop’s dreamers party gathered outstanding Filipinos who, like Anita, possess a positive spirit, inspiring others to reach for their aspirations in life. These include top fashion designers Rhett Eala, Patrice-Ramos Diaz and Rajo Laurel, former fashion models Suyene Chi, Patty Betita, Tetta Ortiz, Marina Benipayo, Anna Rufino and Isabel Roces, and young actors Joseph Marco and Robi Domingo, among others.
The Dreams Unlimited fragrance collection is now available at all The Body Shop stores nationwide.
