After launching their promos offering Charles & Keith shoes and Starbucks drinks (you can never have enough pairs of shoes and you are always thirsting for frapuccinos), now comes another offer that will have women kissing their BFF — their HSBC Red MasterCard.
Here’s the deal: For every P2,000 you spend, you get a P100 gift certificate or P100 off from select retailers.
“At HSBC, we’re always on the lookout for new and exciting deals for our customers. With this permanant feature, your everyday spend allows you to be able to treat yourself to a round of shopping, buy groceries,catch the latest movies, get a new hairdo,or enjoy massage at the spa,” says Annette Tirol, HSBC’s deputy head of personal financial services.
The word “permanent” sounds good.
The P100 SM gift pass can be used at Ace Hardware, Baby & Co, Forever 21, Kultura Filipino, Makro, Our Home, Save More, SM Appliance, SM Cinemas, SM Department Store, SM Hypermarket, SM Supermarket, Sports Central, Surplus Shop, Toy Kingdom, and Watsons. And P100 off can be used at following merchants: Bench Fix Salon, Blue Water Day Spa, Chi Spa at Shangri-la, Strip Ministry of Waxing, The Body Shop, and The Face Shop.
During the launching at Makati Shangri-La, guests were showered —Oprah show style — with hot stuff from HSBC’s partner retailers — Forever 21, SM, Our Home,The Body Shop and The Face Shop. HSBC senior vice president Johanna Garcia herself went shopping for the best finds your hard-earned money can buy: an organic scented candle from SM Our Home, a wrinkle eraser called B-Tox Ampoule Filler, from The Face Shop, a luscious lipgloss from The Body Shop. Our favorite find was the silver sequined evening bag from Forever 21.
Tony Cripps, HSBC Philippines president and CEO, was thrilled to see how the guests loved the products — but loved even more the thought that they would get back a hundred peso gift certificate or discount for every P2,000 purchase. “The HSBC Red Mastercard is the first credit card in the Philippines exclusively for women.
