1. Modern Minimalism is favored by the ultra sophisticated. The past visions of the future of fashion where “art meets function” sums up this trend. Clean cut and geometric shapes are incorporated into footwear through thick straps, concealed platforms and clean lines in nubuck and suede. Black, grey and beige are the modest colors of geometric jewelry, bowler hats and skinny ties.
2. Victorian Dreams is for followers of Victorian era and boudoir dressing. Bold and fearless best describe the Victorian trend as materials and accessories are rich in color and details. The lingerie-as-outerwear trend is big and is capped off with ruffle and lace belts, bejeweled cuffs and a sparkly ring on every finger. Nude, champagne and metallic accents make the trend wearable while layered necklaces and bracelets, lace details and tapestry bangles perfectly finish the look.
3. Military Academy trend merges attention and function. Classic utility is the emphasis of this trend where Aldo enhances the run-of-the-mill army green to include neutral shades to complement shearling-lined bomber jackets, long scarves and aviator caps, classic peacoats and a more elegant look. Metal accents in footwear and handbags are apparent in black, medium brown and khaki colors. Aviator hats, military badges and chains are accessories that will complete the look.
4. American Vintage calls for something easy and free-spirited, bringing back the homey feeling exuded by vintage accessories, furniture and homes. Coziness, comfort and versatility are keys to this look — a time when boy and girl fall in love in their vintage-inspired sweaters, functional leather satchels, moccasins and hiking boots in shades of beige with earth tone accents. Sand, tan, warm brown and touches of forest green are the key colors combined with suede, distressed leather and padded work boot collars. Knit accessories give extra comfort to the trend.
