MANILA, Philippines - Talk about putting the new in neutral.
This season, the winter collection of chic shoe brand Lyn works around a decidedly softer color palette of neutral shades and grays, but mixed with sheen and metal hardware, and mounted onto sky-high platforms.
The combination is perfect for the holiday season. For one, the brand pushes fashion-forward shapes that are just the thing for the season’s parties, whether they be multi-strap pumps, sexy gladiator cutouts done in patent, mod wedges, coquettish peep-toes, or even tweed flats, for casual soirees.
When it comes to the main ticket of the collection, though—the coveted platforms—Lyn offers the goods to complement one’s legs, making them appear much, much longer—gazelle-like even—what with their neutral tones that also serve to reinforce such length, as they draw the eyes along a nice, continuous line.
Speaking of gazelles, and all manner of exotic creatures, Lyn adds even more spice to the collection, with an animal-instinctive smattering of leopard and python prints, either done up in luxurious satin or textured leather, set against the equally natural touch of wooden heels.
The latter, of course, adds a charming retro spin to a versatile collection. Of course, this extends to Lyn’s bags, which come in textured leather in charcoal, beige, oyster, and mushroom tones—new neutrals that spell subtle sophistication.
Lyn is available at the 2nd floor of Greenbelt 5 in Ayala Center.
